Finding the right support for life challenges can be stressful and discouraging. I provide a safe space in which you and I can work together towards your desired outcomes. With over 14 years of nursing experience and my social work background, I am in a unique position of being able to provide a truly holistic approach to therapy. I foster a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship to address concerns that are specific to each client. My approach focuses on developing life skills, building strengths and positive coping skills.
I use a variety of treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy. I am experienced in working with people in addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, acute & chronic illness, pain management, personality disorders, women’s issues, and coaching.
I am in a rare position of being a social worker and a nurse. My practice experiences have helped refine my skills in my holistic approach with individuals, couples and families.
